I have been so down lately and seeing the negative in everything. I'm so unhappy with my school choice and I can't to graduate in about 2 years...
I am social, but I am having trouble makings real friends at Hamline! I need help, any suggestions??

When I'm bored I like to drive my truck on the highway and listen to country music. I just like to chill and go for a drive I guess, it takes things off my mind.
1) Just because we go to a Methodist-founded school does not mean we are all Methodist or religious at that.
2) Hamline United Methodist Church is NOT affiliated with Hamline University. We are two separate entities. The Church allows us to use their facilities for events, but in no way are the school and church connected.
3) Don't go around shaming people for not being at that church, or church in general. Some people go to different churches, some people don't attend church, and some people do not believe. AND THAT IS ALL OK.
4) Do not even get us started on Leviticus. Know your context and your history before you pull out that crap.
5) People can express their sexuality however they want. If you are so focused on church, then believe when we are taught: that God is the only judge. Don't go judging people.
I hope someone can help me with this. I am 18 and have never had a boyfriend before, which is a surprise to people but I have had chances in the past. My problem is that no matter what, I always fear that I'm not going to be good enough, not a good enough girlfriend, not romantic enough, not fun, whatever. So recently I have been getting close to a couple guys who are so sweet and I know would want a serious relationship, and no matter how sweet and genuine they are I just get so scared thinking of being judged or failing. I have tried to tell myself to put my guard down, but how do you?
