It seems like the only think people do at Hamline is complain. Doesn't anybody have anything more important to do rather than complain or get defensive about something that can't be solved by complaining. It's not going to get you anywhere in the real world that's for sure!

It's funny how people think gay marriage is a partisan issue. Last time I checked there are quite a number of handful of conservatives that support gay marriage and other human rights. People are dumb if they think Gay Republicans don't exist (i.e. The Log Cabin Republicans is a gay GOP org) http://www.logcabin.org/

To most of the people who commented on the "If I agree with Phil Robertson on duck dynasty about gays, does that mean that I should transfer schools? Or do people here actually respect my view?" post: http://tinyurl.com/c8uo8xh

To the guy or girl who claims they have never met someone who was gay before college and think they are 'weird', chances are you've met tons of gay people prior to coming to college, even in high school. You probably have had good relations with gay people without realizing it and maybe one of your friends are gay. Just because they aren't the walking stereotype you obviously fear and weirds you out doesn't mean you haven't met any. The fact that you haven't noticed them shows that not all gays make you uncomfortable. Open your eyes and maybe you'll grow and find out gays aren't weird - people are weird. Some just happen to be gay, others are straight. There are weird people everywhere, and people who are similar to you. Find a gay friend with things in common with you - not all LBTQIA people are singularly defined by their identity.
