Sometimes the Anderson Center feels like a cruise ship docked in a poor country's harbor. The rich people eat at the buffet and look out the shiny windows at an impoverished society turned into a tourist attraction.
Watch out for the weird juggler who loiters outside of Anderson/Super America. He always approaches me and my friends and asks if we want to see a magic trick, or he'll juggle clubs. I don't know what his problem is, but I am not interested in magic, I just want my cigarettes.
Abby Thompson is so hot. I love short girls
I would rail my RA so hard
I would like to preface this post by saying I support equal treatment of all people regardless of any differences. That being said, the most generous accurate statistics say that 5-10% of the US population is not cis heterosexual. With that information, why is it offensive to assume when you meet someone they are a straight male or female based on their appearance? About 90-95% of the time it's a correct assumption. Yet people think it's necessary to use gender-neutral pronouns and to ask if you 'have a boyfriend or girlfriend'. I think it's a little ridiculous when people in that 5-10% get mad at me saying 'him' or 'her' and then angrily correcting me and lecturing me that what I said is not okay. If you are not a part of the vast majority about an aspect of life which is not obvious by looking at someone, then why get angry when you have to correct people? Just because you have to correct people doesn't mean that everyone else should have to alter their vernacular in a way which requires everyone to correct people.
I'm falling in love with one of my best friends. Problem is she isn't gay and has a boyfriend. What do I do? How can I explain to her that I can't spend time with her anymore without telling her the truth? I feel so guilty that I'm keeping this from her and afraid how she would react if she found out.
If you flip a burger make the order right then you might get a pay increase. If you actually work hard you can get paid more. If you block a major highway from hard working employees expect a Missouri man in a van to drive through you. Get a job. Learn a trade. Work hard. Become a leader responsibly to make the changes you want. Don't take a day off to ruin thousands of lives.
And police training needs improvement not "all "individuals of the human race. Both/all sides are prejudice and racist in one way or another. It's an individual's sin not the race he or she reflects.
Sometimes I wish I was born with two nipples instead of three. Sucks being a three-nipped guy with nothing going for him but chest hair, a 3.6 gpa, and good looks .
