Am I the only one who actually likes that we're the Hamline Pipers? Though I think that the current mascot costume is super creepy, I really do like the fact that we're the Pipers. It just seems more unique than other schools and I feel represented as a musician. It's one of the things that drew me to HU in the first place, before further research into programs and the overall environment, to be honest.
"I am a republican, and whenever politics comes up, I feel very strong on my views. However, all of my friends are democrats, and I'm never given the opportunity to speak out or if I do voice my opinion, I'm quickly shut down because they don't want to listen to anything I say. The social issues are important, but we need to focus more on the economy."
"Is anyone else confused by the writings in the last bathroom stall in GLC on the 2nd floor?"
It is always the exact same group being obnoxiously loud in anderson no matter the time. Have some courtesy. Not even wants to hear your irritating laughs or you screaming and this is suppose to be a place for all students, not your personal stage.
"I'm a girl and I can't stand mixed signals. I am the type that will be straight up, no wasting time and there's this guy that I told I had a crush on and he felt the same way. However, every time I see him, he acts all awkward. Come on dude, we are in college not elementary school. Grow balls..."
As much as I love my boyfriend, I fear he doesn't feel the same way for me. I worry about the longevity of the relationship more often than I should...
"Probably going to give myself away with this one. I have had a crush on Jordan Fritzke since first semester. However I've always thought he was the sweetest guy ever. Though I haven't done anything about it, my heart melted when he held the door open for me. I just wish I was capable of actually becoming friends with him."
"Does Hartman's son go here??"
