I have no idea what yikyak is, and I doubt I'm missing anything.

I work in the Library. I've seen a few times now pairs of people sitting and chatting, and one is leading the discussion with stuff about the "Financial Matrix", explaining how the economy is just like the movie "The Matrix" where invisible plans keep us all down, and how their business is better than that and can make you rich. That is a pyramid scheme. Do not agree to a meeting with that one fellow. Don't give them contact info. I know it's the polite thing to do, but it is a pyramid scheme and they are just trying to scam you out of money. The people doing this may haave drank the kool-aide and don't realize that they're perpetuating a scam, but that doesn't mean you have to. If their product is motivational books/movies/etc, then why do they spend more time recruiting people than selling said movies? Politely decline and walk away. I wish I had.

I think HUSC is doing a bang-up job. They just had free burgers and chippies today and that was bloody brilliant. Yeakel and Rodne seem a little odd but I'm glad I gave them the vote. Keep doing things on campus HUSC, even though no one will take what you do for granted. Because we are all mad wankers

if you continue to fuck around in the girls bathroom at night when I need to pee, I will get security and have them walk in on you. Though to be fair he'd probably have to throw up afterwards and I don't wanna make anyone suffer you guys naked.

I haven't told many people that I'm bi, but I love how chill Hamline people are when I come out to them. It's like I'm talking about the weather -- no big deal. You guys are the best :)

Perspective is a powerful thing, Each and every one of us are endowed with perspectives and experiences that are vastly different from the next one over. These perspectives shape who we are as human beings and mold our character as we all venture into maturity. An integral function of perspective must be respect, as we begin to have very difficult conversations on often times very difficult and devisive subjects such as Race, Gender, Violence, and Coexistence within our society, we can often times forget that there are always two sides to every coin. What may be a valid and rational talking point for one person might happen to be a difficult subject for another. Going forward, we must remember the lessons of the past in order to move ahead. Let us hold respectful dialouges, and gain perspectives from one another. In these tough times our generation must remember the purpose of the nation we all belong to. America is the light unto nations. Our American Dream is composed of the exceptional notion of ordinary persons just like us, who put forth their best every day so that the next generation may go on to accomplish extraordinary things. While this vision for our future has always been held in the forefront of our public's conscience, unfortunately- our generations refusal to coexist has allowed us to loose sight of whats really important. We've allowed our diversity to divide us rather than uniting our good fortunes. Remember at this difficult time in the history of our incredible nation that difficult times should cause us to come together and unite in the fact that we are so vastly diverse. Keep Hamline moving forward so that we can al share in this incredible experiment that we know as the American Dream ~Teddy
