To be fair to Hamline, the majority of students have never referred to HU as Hamline High. I've never even heard that term until I read your post. Idk who your respondents were, but they clearly are in the minority who surrounds themselves with "high school" drama that the majority of Pipers left behind when they came here. Hamline isn't cliquey. The groups and bonds you make are quite close, but if you take the chance, people welcome you with open arms: give it a try sometime."
