#22 I have been ostracised all through my life...

Countless number of times I have been betrayed by my "friends".

I thought Ashoka would be different but seems like that ostracization has just increased exponentially here.

People who were once good friends of mine have disowned me. People whom I used to chat for hours at a time have kicked me out of their social circles.

Whenever I enter the dining hall or any place where there is a group of people, I am met with scornful glances.

It is horrible when people ignore me when they come across me.

Every time I enter a class, I am welcomed with the same strange looks or my presence is totally ignored.

At times, I have seen myself as a part of the community, but later I realized that most of that "friendliness" was not because people liked me but for their own benefit.

The repercussions have risen so much that nowadays even my professors and TAs do not talk with me properly.

People might dub that I am being too conscious... There will be people here who would give me advice that stop caring about what other people say/do/think/believe... instead of accepting me as a part of their community...

#17 Some money was stolen from various rooms in the Men's Residence, nothing was taken from my room, but I put my name in on the report with a random number because Ashoka compensates you for the amount stolen. :)
