#25392 As an alumni, walking around campus inspires a mix of emotions. Some of the places still look the same while others have completely changed into new physical entities. The professors you once knew now can’t remember your name. The friends you had here have all moved away, gotten married, and started their careers in other places around the globe. The memories of laughs, tears, and worries come back as reflections while walking through the halls. The wonderful place I call home for so many years has changed so much; yet it still feels like home.

At least one thing hasn’t changed much; the wooded booths in the library basement are still here. The place where I would meet my best friend for a casual chat back when she was still alive (how much I miss her laughter and presence right now). The place where I would call a “temporary residence” till 2 AM while cramming for that last minute project. The place where that gorgeous and kind woman I loved so dearly still cared. The place where group meetings would casually become time wasting social gatherings that shoved productivity to the wind. At least this place hasn’t changed much. Thank you Library for the couple hours of nostalgia.

#25391 As a female student, how does one go about having a romantic relationship with a professor? He is single, I know that. Do I have to wait until my class with him is over? Do I hint at it, or do I have to be more direct? Has anyone every had a thing with professor?

Wow, okay didn't expect such alarming hate for me but I guess that's what happens when you post without any context. I didn't want to mention that my current boyfriend started dating me right after I broke up with my ex and he knew that I was hurt by it. It didn't really seem like anything until throughout the years it has turned from "He may not love you, but I do" to "No one will ever want you, so I'll take care of you." I'm stupid enough to not see how terrible either relationship really until reading everyone's comments. My ex was texting me and knowing how this relationship has turned, that I thought he would "save" me, knowing I'm in so much pain. But I guess I needed to realize that one person is drowning me while the other is watching, and pretending like he'll save me. So actually thanks everyone, I needed the harsh truth to see that I can't be with either of them. Thanks for the reality check.
