I think it's sad that people are actually boycotting the NFL because of the Kneeing and the increased coverage of it in lue of Our fabulous Presidents recent statements. I mean I get not wanting to disrespect our Vetrans and Current service people, but for all intents and purposes those who are kneeling are doing exactly what they intended to do. Maybe not everything but it's gotten people talking. I remember when Kaepernick kneeled the first time and thinking ok that's dumb but w/e. Giving it no second thought. Then it escalated into a movement. And I remember thinking ok, this is wrong, you're going about it wrong. But then I got to thinking, if not this, then what? It's a peaceful act of protest that is using a platform that is assured to grab attention. You can't just look away or pretend it's not happening like a rally that happens on the other side of the country. If you haven't heard about this or seen it, you're living under a rock. It's across all trends of media, it's no longer just a sports people thing. And quite honestly I'm disgusted that people are sending these guys and women death threats because they're trying to speak up for inequality and injustices throughout America. Those soldiers who fought for that flag and defended our freedoms also fought so something like this could happen and for the people's right to make it happen. If you have a problem with it you really don't stand for America or what America is about.
